Reports

Decision-makers and hooks

A report tells you who to talk to and what to talk about. The message is yours to write.

How Vintoo picks the decision-maker

Vintoo looks at the employees of the company on LinkedIn and at people named on its website. It ranks them by the job titles you set under Ideal customer in the organization settings, and checks that the role is current.

When there are several candidates, it picks the person who most likely owns the problem you solve, plus up to two others. The first is marked Best pick. Hover over a card to read why Vintoo chose this person.

Contact details

Each card shows LinkedIn, email and phone when Vintoo finds them. For a Contact verdict, Vintoo also looks up the email address of the best pick. A general company address is marked as not personal.

If nobody fits, the report shows the general contact details of the company. A No signal report has no contacts.

Hooks you can use

A hook is a concrete, recent fact you can open with: a reason to reach out now. Each hook comes from one signal that speaks for the company, most often the top signal.

  • Contact: one to three hooks.
  • Wait: up to three, only when there is a real occasion.
  • Don't contact and No signal: no hooks.

Example of a hook

Opened a second office in Utrecht in March and is hiring four account managers.

A hook is never a finished message or advice. Vintoo doesn't write your email: you know your voice and your customer.
