Dashboard
Reading a report
The report opens on the right when you click a prospect. It has two tabs: Result, with the verdict and what to do, and Company details, with the research behind it.
The top
The header shows the company, the verdict, sector, size, city and when the report was made. Below it: a short summary of the company and two to four sentences that explain the verdict.
Use the arrows at the top, or the arrow keys, to move to the previous or next prospect.
Signals
The Result tab starts with the signals: the facts that led to the verdict. How they are grouped depends on the verdict:
- Contact
- Why now lists the reasons to reach out. Counter-argument lists what speaks against it.
- Wait
- What you're waiting for names the moment that would make this a good time, with a button to monitor the prospect. Then What we found and Counter-argument.
- Don't contact
- Why not lists what rules the company out. Counter-argument lists what speaks for it.
Hover over a signal to see its category, why it matters and the quote it is based on. The date and a link to the source are on the right. Read more under Signals.
Contact
Up to three people, with the most likely decision-maker first and marked Best pick. Each card shows the role, since when the person holds it, and buttons for LinkedIn, email and phone when found. Hover over the card to see why Vintoo chose this person.
If nobody fits, the report shows the general contact details of the company. See Decision-makers and hooks.
Hooks you can use
For Contact and Wait verdicts: up to three concrete occasions to reach out now, the most relevant first. They are facts to open with, not a message.
Company details
The second tab holds the research itself:
- Job posts
- Open vacancies with department, location, seniority and age.
- Reviews
- Google reviews behind a signal in this report.
- Services
- What the company sells.
- Their customers
- Who they sell to.
- How they work
- Business model, sales channels and how they deliver. Points Vintoo is unsure about are listed separately.
- Technology
- The technology behind their website, limited to what matters for your offer.
- Details
- Domain, LinkedIn, email, phone, city, size, founding year, industry and when the website was last updated.
- History
- How the verdict changed over time. Appears from the second report on.
When there is no report yet
- Not analyzed yet
- The prospect was added but not analyzed. Click Analyze.
- In progress
- The report is being made. This takes a few minutes, and you can keep working in the meantime.
- Failed
- Something went wrong while collecting or analyzing. Try again. Failed reports don't count toward your volume.
- No signal
- Vintoo found too little to judge the company. The report lists which sources it checked.
When you analyze a prospect again, the current report stays visible with a notice until the new one is ready.
